Open Solaris

Computer Lovers,
It would be absolutely right if I say, that the world of computers begins with Windows in every Indian house, and then in a few days, months, year(s) [that's too much] people mess up with files, download viruses and unknowingly ruin their files, system files, then system needs a FORMAT and many a times a Windows Reinstall.... oh hell every thing's over !! Now what.. Hay!! Call the vendor!?! Or get a Pirated Windows OS somehow. Then of course you must be using internet to update your system and soon you come to know that you too have a Pirated copy, ah!! what a headache!!
To save your head from all these things an obvious advice would be to switch over to the Open Solaris.. A SUN MICROSYSTEMS PRODUCT !?! oh Yes!! From those who created the Java... and also those who are programmers/developers , must give it a try. It will surely suit to your requirements.

So also, I've heard that it is a right choice for those who are interested in Developing the system rather than just Using them. Because this system is going to provide you the very much needed programming environment and security from the brain-eating viruses. And of course for many people, one must (MAST) reason to try this is that it is FREE to download!! One more thing I would like to add is it has special functionality that includes: fault management, networking, multi-threaded scaling, performance, security and resource management capabilities. Download OpenSolaris 2009.06 (670 MB approx.)!!
Get Live CD Free of Cost !! I don't need to as I won the live CD attending a lively  contest , as audience. Anyways enjoy working..

WoOoO.. Seems Grr8 hmm!! But just a second, one more little thing before you install, just see to it that you don't "Blow Away" your 'ever existing' traditional windows (as I did) and make elderly people angry at your home... Try using it with a Virtual Box first, and go ahead when you learn... its very easy.
I'll soon come up with some more interesting stuffs, till then..
Keep Enjoying! Keep Living! And Welcome the Up Coming Year 2010...

With Best Wishes,
Harish
